Coffs Harbour Show Children’s Entries

You probably all know the show is on in Coffs Harbour the weekend of Friday 11th – Sunday 13th May. You can find out more about what’s on and the schedule of events on the Show Website.

As a kid I remember entering paintings and other artwork we made at school to be judged at the show. But thanks to a Coffs for Kids parent, Rhonda – she made me aware of many other categories for kids to enter in the Show.

There is a whole list but includes things like:

• Scrapbooking
• Cardmaking
• Beading
• Photography
• Cooking (such as Gingerbread person, Anzac biscuits, butter cakes and muffins)
• Cake decoration
• Painting
• Drawing
• Even Lego!
• and more…!

Divided into age categories depending on the section being entered.

So have some fun with your kids and encourage them to enter! As Rhonda says, “It encourages community involvement and helps with self esteem etc etc.”
