Looking for a Baby Carrier?By
Baby carriers. You want one but you have no idea where to start, the best one, the most comfortable, the one your baby will be happiest in. There are tonnes of baby carriers on the market but having recently had a demonstration and practice using the Manduca Baby and Child Carrier, I really fell in love with it.
What is helpful is getting advice, comments or opinions from other parents who have used it:
Lauren: I also love the face you have a built in baby insert as the back can unzip to accommodate a larger child. I like the idea if putting them on your back as well best choice I made was to get this
Rebecca: I love, love, love my Manduca! My lil girl is 21 months and we still love to use it. I love how it comes with the newborn insert attached (we have used ours since the week she was born) It’s really easy to use & adjust, and is very comfortable for bub & us. My girl loves to see the world from up high, or snuggle in and sleep. If you enjoy babywearing and plan on doing it for as long as possible, I highly recommend it.
Jessica: Fantastic. I picked because you can cross the straps over and I find it feels much more secure. I still carry my 19mth old on the front and I’m 157cm and a size 6-8. It distributes the weight very evenly it’s great.
Erin: I love my manduca, it’s helps me get things done. It makes quick trips to the shops, or anywhere easy. I am still learning the back carry by myself, think that my bub is a bit little to cooperate, I have been using it for about 4 months. I also think it my best baby buy.
You can read all about the Manduca on their website but here are a few things I really liked about it:
- Can be used as front, side and back carrier
- 100% certified organic cotton against baby’s skin, with outer layer organic cotton/hemp mix
- Built-in newborn insert for use from 3.5 kgs
- Baby’s back and neck are supported and support extends as baby grows
The Manduca has won a lot of awards but most recently it was awarded being in ”Top 5 Products a Mother Must Have” on Channel 9’s Kerri-Anne Morning Show and Awarded Bronze as the ”Best textile Product” at the 2010 Organic Expo & Green Show Awards.
