Monday

10.30am – Bring your Bub to Birch, Carroll and Coyle. This week – “Star Trek: Into the Darkness”. All tickets $10, kids under 4yrs free.

10.30am – Playgroup at  Tabatinga FREE with entry.

Tuesday

10.30am – Playgroup at  Tabatinga FREE with entry.

11am – 11.45am – Woolgoogla Library: Storytime for pre-school aged children.

Wednesday

10.30am – Playgroup at  Tabatinga FREE with entry.

11am – National Simultaneous Storytime at Coffs Harbour Library. Read Nick Bland’s ‘The Wrong Book’ followed by morning tea.

12.30pm - Bring your Bub to Birch, Carroll and Coyle. This week – “Star Trek: Into the Darkness”. All tickets $10, kids under 4yrs free.

Thursday

growerslittle8am – 3.30pm – COFFS COAST GROWERS MARKET.   Local & regional produce, home-made treats for all to enjoy! Everything from fresh fruit & veg, seafood, bread, cakes, meat, flowers and plants, jams and condiments, roasted coffee, tea, nuts, olives, smallgoods and more.

 

10.30am – Playgroup at  Tabatinga FREE with entry.

11am – 11.45am – Toormina Library: Storytime for pre-school aged children.

Friday

10.30am – Bring your Bub to Birch, Carroll and Coyle. This week – “The Call”. All tickets $10, kids under 4yrs free.

Sunday

9am – 3pm – Emerald Beach Community Fair. Including: Skydiving, venomous snake display, circus shows, live music, entertainment, Market stalls, great food, displays and competitions and more! FREE entry.

Midday – Cheeky Monkey Kids Club at The Greenhouse. Free!  Also facepainting, turtle feeding and and water dragon spotting.

Weekly Chilli Kids Hot Spot News

I am very proud to announce that Coffs for Kids and the Sawtell Chilli Festival have formed a Community Partnership and are working together to provide you with the hottest information on kids activities at the Chilli Kids Hot Spot in 2013.

Every Wednesday in the countdown to the Chilli Festival (7 weeks to go!) we will present you with the Weekly Chilli Kids Hot Spot News.

This is the 15th year the Chilli Festival has been running.  And this year will be bigger and better than ever with the Chilli Kids Hotspot.

Loads of free and low-cost activities including: shows, competitions, balloons, hair braiding, jumping castle, sow-a-seed, Sand Wizard, camels, face-painting and MORE! We’ll be letting you know just what is going on every Wedneday in the lead-up to the event.

2013 Coffs for Kids Excellence Awards

I am very excited to announce the 2013 Coffs for Kids Excellence Awards.

This is the second year running these awards with a fantastic response last year we are doing it again! (You can see last year’s winners by clicking here.)

We need you to fill out a survey to vote for your favourite LOCAL kids/family friendly activities, businesses and services.

The Excellence Awards are designed to recognise local business, services and locations that benefit kids and families on the Coffs Coast. We also want to encourage and highlight the importance of having such businesses who cater for families and children, which helps make the Coffs Coast such an awesome place to raise a family!

So whether it be a cafe, local tourist attraction or event, we’d like you to vote on who you think deserve to win a 2013 Excellence Award in each chosen category.

Everyone who fills out the voting form completely will go in the draw to win this fantastic prize… a weekend away for a family of up to 6 people at Big 4 Trial Bay.
